Est un sage autiste, incapable de parler, marcher ou alimenter lui-même. Il a découvert la peinture, utilisant ses mains bien qu'incapable d'utiliser ses doigts fonctionellement. Il a commencé la peinture en 1993. Ses capacités ont été découvertes par son Professeur d'éducation spécialisée et alors encouragé par sa mère. Christophe ne parle pas mais s'exprime par ses peintures. Une figure singulière dans l'art, il peint avec ses mains et emploie l'acrylique sur le papier, la toile et le carton.
Son expression été présenté aux Etats-Unis par Dr. Becker en avril 1988 à la Mills Pond House Gallery in Smithtown, Long Island, New York. Ses peintures sont frappantes par le langage figuré, fascinant, improbable, et de type parfois mystique représenté. Il s'avère souvent qu'il peint les êtres éthérés. C'est un monde étrange en lequel nous pouvons pénétrer avec la merveilleuse fraicheur de l'enfance. Christophe a exposé partout en France, en Italie, au Japon et aux États-Unis.
Il est un membre de plusieurs sociétés d'artiste. Une de ses peintures est reproduite sur la couverture du programme 2003 de conférence de DAN (autisme de défaite maintenant). Son art est également inclus dans l'ART DE L'ESPRIT, la collection d'art permanente de l'institut de M.I.N.D. en Californie. He is an autistic savant, unable to talk, walk or feed
himself.
He discovered painting, using his hands though unable to use his fingers functionally. He began painting in
1993. His capacities were discovered by his special
Education teacher and then encouraged by his mother.
Christophe does not talk but expresses himself through his paintings. A singular figure in art, he paints with his hands and uses acrylic on paper, canvas and cardboard.
His artwork was introduced to the United States by Dr. Becker in April, 1988 at the Mills Pond House Gallery in Smithtown, Long Island, New York.
His paintings are striking due to the imagery, fascinating, improbable, and sometimes mystic characters represented. It appears often that he is painting ethereal beings. It is a strange world in which we can penetrate with the renewed wonder of childhood.
Christophe has exhibited throughout France, Italy, Japan and the U.S. He is a member of several artist societies. One of his paintings is featured on the cover of the 2003 DAN (Defeat Autism Now) Conference Program.
His art is also included in ART OF THE MIND, the permanent art collection of the M.I.N.D. Institute in California.
